Current Positions Available

Post  Doctoral Fellow - Research in Molecular Genetics  (3 Positions)

Qualifications:
Must be Ph.D. or MD and experience in molecular biology or molecular cytogenetics or neuroscience and developmental biology.

Summary:
The individuals will be responsible for actively contributing to the ongoing research projects in gene discovery, genome analysis and the neurobiology of behavior and cardiovascular development as seen in William's Syndrome and Down Syndrome.

Description:
Performs a variety of complex experimental protocols and procedures.
Assists in the design of new or unusual protocols.  Contributes in writing grant applications and research papers.  Must be able to work independently and be proficient.  Studies will involve human heart defects and cognitive disorders as well as studies in the mouse.

We offer a highly interactive environment with the potential for long term growth due to multi-year NIH grant funding. Salary is dependent upon experience and is above the NIH post-doctoral guidelines.


Educational Requirements:
PhD or MD in Molecular Biology

Experience:
Candidate should have doctoral training in gene expression, cell biology and construction of knockout mice.  Must be able to work independently.
