Vivien Bonert, MD, is Clinical Coordinator of the Pituitary Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is also Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Bonert has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology Metabolism, Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, Pituitary and the South Africa Medical Journal, as well as many book chapters. She serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and is a reviewer for Pituitary. Her research focuses on diagnosis and novel therapies for the treatment of pituitary tumors.

Dr. Bonert is a member of several professional societies, including the Endocrine Society, Pituitary Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist.

Dr. Bonert received her bachelor's and medical degrees from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa. She completed her internship and residency at Baragwanath Hospital, Witwatersrand University Johannesburg, S. Africa. She also completed a residency and a fellowship in endocrinology at Cedars-Sinai.
