This one-day course will present management techniques for common orthopaedic treatments that can be performed in the primary care physician's office. Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center surgeons and locally invited musculoskeletal experts will present lectures to assist the primary care practitioner in performing the most common basic orthopaedic procedures such as: injection of the carpal tunnel; injection of a trigger finger; aspiration of a joint; cortisone injection in various joints such as shoulder or knee; splinting; and different physical therapy modalities.
There will be breakout sessions for demonstrations and hands-on practice of the various techniques.
