Leslie Memsic, MD, FACS
Surgical Oncologist
Leslie Memsic, MD, FACS is an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) with offices in the Outpatient Cancer Center at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. Her principal clinical interest is in breast cancer. She also has expertise in a variety of other cancers, including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine and soft tissue sarcoma.
In addition to her busy surgical practice, Dr. Memsic has authored numerous articles and abstracts related to cancer. Dr. Memsic belongs to several professional societies including the American College of Surgeons, the Los Angeles Surgical Society, The American Society of Breast Surgeons, The Association of Women Surgeons, The American Society of Breast Disease and The American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Memsic is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is conversant in Spanish.
Dr. Memsic received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine. Her residency in general surgery was completed at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in liver transplantation at UCLA, and completed another fellowship in surgical oncology at CSMC.
