Sestamibi Brain SPECT

A nuclear medicine exam using the radiopharmaceuticals Tc-99m sestamibi and thallous chloride.

Indications:

This study is used to evaluate brain tumors. This study is particularly good a visualizing high-grade tumors.

    Scheduling:

    • Can be ordered any time.

    • Procedure takes approximately two hours.
