
Christopher S. Ng, MD is Director of Laparoscopic Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai¿s Minimally Invasive Urology Institute and a urologist at the Cedars-Sinai Urology Center. Dr. Ng is also a clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Ng is a specialist in advanced, minimally invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures for various urologic conditions, including cancer, stones and strictures. He also has expertise in performing minimally invasive, robotic laparoscopic prostatectomy surgery.
Dr. Ng's primary areas of research interest involve innovative minimally invasive techniques for treating urologic disorders. He has also conducted laboratory research into the immunology of kidney cancer.
A frequent presenter at national and international symposia, Dr. Ng has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Endourology, Journal of Urology and Urology. He has also written chapters for the books Office Urology, and Textbook of Laparoscopic Urology.
Dr. Ng received his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. At the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, he completed an internship in general surgery, a residency in urology as well as fellowships in laparoscopic/minimally invasive surgery and endourology/stone disease.
