Cedars-Sinai operates the Physician and Service Referral Program (1-800-CEDARS-1) for physicians who are on our medical staff. There are no charges to the physicians or to the callers for this service. The call agents give referrals on a rotating basis, but the final selection of a physician is based on the caller's needs and preferences.
Cedars-Sinai's call center answers all the calls to 1-800-CEDARS-1, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Any physician with privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center can participate in the Physician and Service Referral Program. Participation is completely voluntary, so you must complete an enrollment form to receive referrals through this service.
If you are currently enrolled in the program and would like to continue receiving referrals, you must complete a new enrollment form when it is offered to you, even if there are no changes. The form is standardized to streamline the database and provide callers with accurate information.
If you would like to receive referrals from the Physician and Service Referral Program, you must complete the Physician Referral Form. For your convenience, the form is available through several methods:
- E-Form
The electronic version of the Physician Referral Form can be completed on your computer and e-mailed. To receive the e-form, e-mail a request to the program coordinator.
