Tumor Board - Multidisciplinary Expertise in Reviewing Head and Neck Tumors
Every month, the Cedars-Sinai Head and Neck Cancer Center sponsors a Tumor Board. This board brings together a multidisciplinary team of specialists to review complex cases, validate diagnoses and discuss treatment and care options.
Members of the Tumor Board include surgical oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, radiological oncologists, dietitians, medical oncologists, physical therapists, swallowing and speech therapists, prosthodontists and pathologists.
Any physician or individual can request that a case be presented and reviewed by the Tumor Board. The Tumor Board is a service to the community that brings together a level of expertise that rarely otherwise would be found in one place.
