
Khawar Siddique, MD is a neurosurgeon at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars-Sinai. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, including percutaneous fusions and decompressions, surgical treatment of primary and metastatic spinal tumors, and treatment for spinal fractures.
His research interests include spinal cord injury, models of spinal metastatic tumors and traumatic brain injuries.
Board eligible for the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Siddique is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Association for Cancer Research and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has written several articles for peer-reviewed publications, including Journal of Neurosurgery, Oncogene, and International Journal of Oncology.
Dr. Siddique graduated cum laude and with highest distinction in physiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed his residency training in neurosurgery from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Dr. Siddique then completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
