Raluca Kurz, MS, CGC

Genetic Services Coordinator

Raluca Kurz, MS, CGC is a genetic counselor and the genetic services coordinator for the GenRISK Adult Genetics Program at Cedars-Sinai.

Ms. Kurz began her career as a cancer genetics counselor in 1996. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling, and she is an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Society of Human Genetics. She has also served on local and international committees on genetic services for cancer genetics.

Actively involved in the research and clinical aspects of cancer genetics, Ms. Kurz is currently involved in epidemiological studies of risk factors for cancer in high-risk individuals. Her research interests also include access to genetic services and the perception of genetic discrimination by the public and medical professionals.

Ms. Kurz received a baccalaureate in human genetics and a master's degree in human genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.
