Ora Karp Gordon, MD, MS

Director, GenRISK Program

Ora Karp Gordon, MD, MS is Director of the GenRISK Program at Cedars-Sinai. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

A diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Genetics, Dr. Gordon's primary research interests include the study of common disease genetics and the documentation of cancer family history.

Dr. Gordon has published results of her research in the American Journal of Human Genetics and co-authored a book chapter in the Principles and Practices of Medical Genetics, 4th Edition. She has also presented her research findings to the American College of Medical Genetics, Western Society for Pediatric Research and the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Dr. Gordon received her bachelor's degree from Tulane University and her master's and medical degrees from the University of California, Irvine. She completed her internship and residency at UCLA. In addition, Dr. Gordon completed her genetics fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
