Anti-Seizure Drugs for Managing Spinal Pain

Anti-seizure or neuroleptic drugs are often prescribed to relieve nerve type pain. This usually appears as leg pain. These drugs are also prescribed for patients who have degeneration of the nerves.

Anti-seizure drugs are not addictive. Most patients tolerate them well. Side effects are slight and may include fatigue, dizziness or nausea.
