Oona A. Khan, MD is an endocrinologist and internist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.

Dr. Khan's primary areas of clinical interest involve thyroid disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, polycystic ovarian syndrome. Her prior research includes sexual dysfunction in patients with chronic hepatitis C as well as thyroid disease. She has written articles on thyroid disease in patients with chronic hepatitis C and on papillary thyroid carcinoma.

Board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, Dr. Khan is a member of the American College of Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Her past teaching experience includes serving as a physical diagnosis course instructor for New York University School of Medicine and as a lactation educator in Los Angeles.

Dr. Khan received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1991 and her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1999. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle in 2002 and an endocrinology fellowship at New York University Medical Center in 2004.
