Pathologists are the physicians who analyze cells and tissues under a microscope to determine whether they are cancerous, pre-cancerous, or benign (non-cancerous). These specimens are taken during a breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy or lymph node removal. Our pathologists help your physician determine whether you have a condition that needs treatment. The pathologists at the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center work hard to get you a prompt reliable answer so that you don¿t have to worry any longer than necessary.
