

Bing Hu, MD is an attending pathologist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Hu previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle.
Dr. Hu's primary areas of research interests involve gastrointestinal pathology and bone metabolism. He is an active participant in two National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded studies.
Board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Hu is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society. He has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Hu received his medical degree from Zhejiang Medical University in China and continued postgraduate training at the Institute of Health, Chinese Academy of Medical Science in Beijing. After research training in biochemistry at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he completed a residency in pathology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a fellowship in surgical/gastrointestinal pathology at the University of Washington.
Board certified, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
