Application and Contracts

Applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and should include:

  • 3 letters of reference
  • A Dean's letter
  • A curriculum vitae
  • Medical school transcripts
  • USMLE scores
Foreign graduates will also need:
  • A current ECFMG certificate
  • A California Medical Board evaluation letter
  • A visa or work authorization (if applicable)
Candidates who do not have a California medical license must be within two years of graduation from an approved medical school in the U.S. or Canada. Graduates of international medical schools must meet the California Medical Board eligibility requirements.
