STAT Services

Certain tests are available within four hours of the receipt of the specimen when results are ordered STAT. Please refer to our list of tests available on a STAT basis.

To request a STAT test, please:

  • Contact Dispatch at (310) 423-2200 or (800) 898-2757
  • Press "3" to request STAT courier service
  • Indicate STAT priority and the "call to" phone number on the laboratory requisition
There is an additional fee of $15 for this service. STAT tests that are completed after 10 p.m. will be phoned the next day before 10 a.m., excluding any critical values, which are phoned immediately.
