Immunology

Immunology methods are used to diagnose a wide range of disorders of the immune system, as well as to evaluate malignant disorders of blood and lymphoid cells. Autoimmune disease, infectious diseases, malignant lymphomas, as well as the response of the body to a variety of biologic changes are studied.

The Immunology Laboratory offers services that include routine serologic antibody and/or antigen detection procedures, syphilis serology, protein immunochemistry, infectious disease serology, autoantibody testing and AIDS screening (ELISA and Western blot).
