Pathology Consultation Services
Pathology Services at Cedars-Sinai provides a comprehensive test menu and consultations in diagnostic anatomic pathology, molecular pathology, hematopathology, immunohistochemistry, coagulation and cytogenetics.
The faculty provides expert second opinions for more than 3,000 cases per year from a regional and national referral base. The subspecialized pathologists at Cedars-Sinai are nationally and internationally recognized experts in their fields, known for providing accurate and appropriate diagnoses. The faculty is comprised of 40 MDs and PhDs known for their leadership in clinical diagnosis and pathology research. They are actively involved in education at the national level and locally, with nearly 30 residents and fellows in the pathology department at Cedars-Sinai.
Pathology Services has gained a national reputation for accuracy, speed and responsiveness for referral consults.
