
One-year fellowship in applied health services research is offered by Zynz Health, the health services research group affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Fellows develop expertise in evidence-based healthcare, quality assessment and improvement in healthcare, and healthcare informatics.
The fellow will spend one year learning the fundamentals of evidence-based medicine, quantitative data analysis, quality assessment and improvement in healthcare, and healthcare informatics. He/she will have numerous opportunities to apply their expertise to individual health services research projects with faculty mentorship, including evaluation of clinical decision support solutions.
Applicants must have a medical degree (MD or DO), have completed residency training in any ABMS-recognized specialty by the start of the fellowship, and have a California Medical License when they start training. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in health services research. The candidate's fellowship appointment will be through Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a PGY-4 stipend and benefits in accordance with Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education Policies.
Applications should be received by February 15, 2007 with new applications evaluated on a rolling basis thereafter until a candidate is selected.
