For the Graduate Level I (first-year medical residency) program, we only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please contact your medical school for more information. The deadline for accepting your application is Dec. 15, 2007, however we strongly encourage you to apply early because our available interview slots fill quickly.
Our first-year medical residency (Categorical Program No. 103016) is the initial year of a three-year training program in Internal Medicine. We offer 41 PGY-1 positions in this program. Our preliminary internal medicine program (Program No. 103015) offers a single year of medical training for those individuals who plan to pursue subsequent training in another medical field. This program has 10 PGY-1 positions available.
The number of applicants to our internal medicine program greatly exceeds the number we are able to interview. Therefore, after the house staff Selection Committee has reviewed each candidate's application, only those likely to be placed in our NRMP rank list will be offered an invitation to interview.
Submit an application through ERAS with the following:
Final acceptance will be contingent upon a satisfactory graduation from medical school. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
