

Nathan Fischel-Ghodsian, MD is Director of Molecular Hematology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Fischel-Ghodsian also serves as Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Fischel-Ghodsian is board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and clinical molecular genetics. His research concentrates on the relationships between molecular genetic changes and the clinical phenotype. He is supported by multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and has served on multiple internal and external review groups at the NIH and other national and international granting agencies.
Dr. Fischel-Ghodsian has published extensively in peer-reviewed publications. He is a fellow of the American Society of Pediatrics and the American College of Medical Genetics and a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Human Genetics and the Society for Pediatric Research.
Dr. Fischel-Ghodsian received his medical degree from the Technion Institute of Medicine in Israel. He completed his residency and fellowship in pediatrics and pediatric hematology and oncology at the Children's Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed his postgraduate research training in molecular genetics at Oxford University in England.
