

Peggy Miles, MD is Associate Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine, Director of the Faculty Service within the Department of Medicine, Medical Director of the Internal Medicine Clinics and Medical Director of Employee Health Service at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A staff physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Dr. Miles is also Director of Internal Medicine Clinics at Cedars-Sinai and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Miles has held multiple leadership positions at Cedars-Sinai and has been integral to the organization of delivery of services to both outpatients and inpatients. She serves on a number of administrative committees in the medical center and has been active in teaching medical staff, medical students and nurse practitioner students.
A member of several professional societies, Dr. Miles has been a reviewer for the Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program of the American College of Physicians and for the Journal of General Internal Medicine. She has written articles for such peer-reviewed publications as the American Journal of Infection Control.
Dr. Miles received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine and her medical degree from Georgetown University. After an internship in internal medicine at Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles, she completed a residency in internal medicine at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Cedars-Sinai.
