Steven S. Galen, MD is Immediate Past Clinical Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine. He is active in the private practice of internal medicine. As clinical chief, Dr. Galen represents the community physicians who practice internal medicine and are affiliated with the division.

A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Galen is board certified in internal medicine. He is active in promoting high-quality care at Cedars-Sinai through his membership on the Peer Review Committee and the Department of Medicine Performance Improvement Committee.

Dr. Galen received his bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai.
