Support groups include the Caregivers Support Group, Drop-in Support Group, Family Loss Support Group, General Loss Support Group, Widows and Widowers Support Group, and the Young Widows and Widowers Support Group. Through a predetermined, approved charitable contribution, support groups can be renamed with the name of a family, individual or company. Other contributions can help offset operational costs of various support groups, individually or collectively. This fund assists patients and their family who have limited finances or insurance to obtain equipment and services. Through a predetermined, approved charitable contribution, a dedicated AIDS Support Group can be established. The group can be renamed with the name of a family, individual or company. Other contributions can help offset operational costs of the support group. This fund provides educational support for Palliative Care Services staff to attend educational programs and learn new methods of managing pain and learning new approaches to end-of-life care. This fund provides monies to conduct research into quality end-of-life issues.
