Highly trained pediatricians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, health educators and community outreach workers from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's staff make up the COACH for KidsŪ healthcare team.
These skilled professionals deliver high-level expertise in diagnosing and treating children who otherwise may not be examined until their condition had deteriorated to more advanced stages. Along with knowledge and extensive experience, physicians and nurse practitioners deliver free medical care to underprivileged youngsters in an atmosphere of friendliness and compassion.
Individual case management services for the program are led by the COACH for KidsŪ family services coordinator, a licensed clinical social worker and a team of social work professionals. These experts assist low-income, high-need families in finding and using a wide variety of local resources that can help create positive changes in their lives - changes that will improve the future well-being of their children.
The bilingual (English/Spanish) COACH team delivers care and services in a culturally competent manner.
