Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a specialized X-ray procedure in which a contrasting agent is used to more clearly image the body's interior. A useful tool for screening and diagnosing certain cancers, fluoroscopy includes:

  • Upper GI, a common screening test for stomach or intestinal cancer
  • Barium enema, a common screening test for colon cancer
  • Catheter checks for chemotherapy lines or Porta Catheters for receiving chemotherapy
