Mitchell S. Komaiko, MD

Director, Body CT and Ultrasound

Mitchell S. Komaiko, MD is Director of Body Computed Tomography (CT) and Ultrasound at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center, and he served as Director of the Residency and Fellowship Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center until December, 2002. Dr. Komaiko also served on the utilization review and radiation safety committees and was Editor of the Medical Staff News.

Dr. Komaiko is board certified in diagnostic radiology and is involved with ongoing research in ultrasound. A popular speaker, he has presented at local and national conferences and has authored several papers for peer-reviewed publications.

A graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Komaiko completed his postgraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles, including a fellowship in ultrasound and special procedures.
