

Kate Perkins, MD, PhD is Medical Director of Inpatient Pediatrics for the Department of Pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Perkins directs the Children's Health Clinic at Cedars-Sinai and has active academic interests in quality improvement and outcomes research. In addition, she is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Associate Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Pediatrics at UCLA.
Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Perkins is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Ambulatory Pediatrics Association.
Dr. Perkins received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside, and her medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. She completed her doctorate in genetics and cell biology at the University of Minnesota and her pediatrics residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
