

Stanley C. Jordan, MD is Director of Nephrology (Pediatrics and Internal Medicine), Director of the Transplant Immunology Laboratory and Medical Director of the Renal Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In addition, he is Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Jordan serves on the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Allergy and Immunology Task Force to develop research priorities for kidney transplantation for the 21st century. He is also a member of the American Society of Transplant Doctors Task Force on Transplant Tolerance Induction. Dr. Jordan is a Fellow of the American Society of Pediatrics and a member of the American Society of Transplantation, Kidney Foundation of Southern California, International and American Societies of Pediatric Nephrology, American Association of Immunologists and the American Society of Microbiology and Immunology.
Dr. Jordan received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his internship, residency and a pediatric nephrology fellowship at the UCLA School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Jordan was a fellow in experimental pathology at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation and a fellow in dialysis and transplantation at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
