
Pediatric Infectious Diseases and HIV has a distinguished history of providing high quality consultations for the pediatric community. In particular, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and HIV is committed to basic research, care of immunocompromised patients and managing community outbreaks.
Under the leadership of Moshe Arditi, MD, Director, as well as Associate Director Deborah Lehman, MD, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and HIV is expanding the scope of care provided to all its patients. Both are board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases.

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases and HIV staff works with the referring physician to determine the best course of treatment for patients with infectious diseases, providing results from their findings, as well as recommending diseases management and prevention strategies. When the patient is referred back to the primary care physician for continued management, the Pediatric Infectious Diseases and HIV physicians remain available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide post-treatment support.
