The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (ACP) serves Cedars-Sinai clinic patients with an active clinic card, Emergency Room patients, Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Cancer Center patients, pain management patients, transplant patients, psychiatry patients, and patients discharged from the hospital.

The ACP also fills prescriptions for employees (including doctors), volunteers and their immediate families.
Patient counseling is provided to ensure that patients understand how to take their medications. In California, this is a legal requirement of the State Board of Pharmacy. Additionally, the Ambulatory Care clinical pharmacists are responsible for pharmacists-run clinics and provide education and consultative services to patients, medical residents and nurses.
