Partial Hospitalization Program

The services offered in our Partial Hospitalization Program include acute psychiatric care and treatment of patients with dual diagnoses.

Some of our patients have mental disorders or behavior problems too severe for outpatient therapy alone. When an overnight stay is not necessary, the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) fills the gap. It provides a structured atmosphere for recovery.

The PHP has two other functions. It is an alternative to inpatient treatment, and it helps patients move from inpatient care to their homes and community.

The PHP provides intensive day treatment for adults 18 and older. The program operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We provide lunch and transportation each treatment day.

A psychiatrist directs the daytime program. It offers individually tailored treatment in a healing atmosphere.

We use many types of therapies to engage patients in their treatment. The more people know about their illness, the more effectively they can cope with it.
