
Medardo Supnet MD is a neonatologist at Pediatric Services at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also is an assistant clinical professor at Charles Drew University School of Medicine.
Dr. Supnet's main clinical and research interests are ischemia reperfusion injury and oxygen toxicity in neonates. He has written and co-authored articles on neonatal subjects for peer-reviewed publications such as the Pediatric Research and the American Journal of Physiology.
Dr. Supnet earned his bachelor's degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines and his master's in chemistry from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), also in Manila Philippines. He earned his medical degree from Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) in Manila where he also fulfilled a rotating internship. After earning a master's in public health at San Jose State University in San Jose, California, Dr. Supnet completed his pediatric internship and residency at Los Angeles County King/ Drew Medical Center (KDMC). He followed this with a neonatology fellowship at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles/KDMC Joint program in Neonatolgy.
Dr. Supnet is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine, a fellow the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the California Association of Neonatologists.
