
Gary D. Goulin, MD, FAAP is Associate Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Co-Director of the Pediatric Critical Care Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also is an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
In addition to serving on numerous committees at Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Goulin is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics (California Chapter II and sections on critical care and child abuse and neglect); the Society of Critical Care Medicine (pediatric and resident education sections); and the Southern California Lambda Medical Association (where he served on the board).
He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals including Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesia & Analgesia, and the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology. His interests include neurologic and pediatric cardiac intensive care.
Dr. Goulin earned his bachelor's degree from the Johns Hopkins University He earned his medical degree at the College of Medicine at the Mayo Medical School. He performed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children's Hospital and Health Center of San Diego. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care.
