Philip G. Brooks, MD is a part-time Medical Director of the Gynecology Operating Rooms and an attending physician of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Brooks also is Clinical Professor, Department of OBGYN at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Brooks' main clinical and research interests are: laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, menopause and osteoporosis.
Dr. Brooks has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications, including Fertility and Sterility, Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Brooks earned his bachelor's degree at UCLA and his medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Los Angeles County General Hospital and a clinical infertility fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology.
