
Dolores Kent, MD is an attending physician of the Department of Obstetrics and a member of the Center of Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Kent's main clinical and research interests are fibroids, operative laparoscopy, and endometriosis. Dr. Kent has served on various hospital committees, including Cedars-Sinai's Reappointment Committee and MEC Election Committee. She is a member of various medical societies such as American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, Association of Black Women Physicians, Los Angeles Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and American Association of Cosmetic Gynecologists.
She has received various community service awards and is a past secretary of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Medical Women's Association, a national organization of women physicians and medical students.
Dr. Kent received her bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology.
