Amit Ramesh

Software Engineer, Cardiac CT and MRI

Amit Ramesh is a software engineer with the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Program at Cedars-Sinai.

Amit's current focus is the development of algorithms for registration and segmentation of cardiac CT images. In the past, he has worked on automated algorithms for quantification of cardiac function in cine MRI images. His primary interest is in developing technologies involving machine intelligence, and his research areas include image analysis/computer vision and machine learning.

Amit received his bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Bharathidasan University and master¿s degrees in computer science from the University of Southern California and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
