The Thyroid Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai conducts research on thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and other conditions affecting the thyroid.

Thyroid Cancer

  • Use of various agents to induce the expression of the sodium iodide symporter into tumors that have lost the ability to concentrate radioactive iodine (Drs. Koeffler and Braunstein )
