Web/VS Enhancement: Recent Results

We've made some recent changes to the functionality in the "Recent Results" section. Originally, after selecting a patient, by default Web/VS would display that patient's reports and results for the last few days in reverse chronological order. If there were no results within the last few days, a message would display stating, "No results were reported for this patient." The number of days was configurable in the User Profile, but defaulted to three.

Web/VS will now display the last results and reports regardless of how long ago they were reported, if there are no new results or reports in the last few days. The date menus will be updated appropriately to show the starting date that was used. The number of days of results and reports displayed will be based upon the configuration in the User Profile.

To change the number of days that are displayed by default after a patient is selected, follow these quick and easy steps:

  1. Click the "User Profile" button in the lower left end of the blue navigation area;

  2. Scroll down to "Web/VS Result/Report Display Configuration" and change the drop-down menu in the "Recent Results Default Days" to the number of days you would like to display. Note that changing this to a large number may impair the performance of Web/VS;

  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click the "Update My Profile" button.
