Oncology Clinical Debates in Colorectal Cancer: 2008 - September 3

The Colorectal Cancer Center at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute will present "Oncology Clinical Debates in Colorectal Cancer: 2008" on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium. Emeritus Society Lunch Lecture by Bernard G. Sarnat, M.D. - September 5

Bernard G. Sarnat, M.D., will discuss his upcoming biography, entitled Bernard G Sarnat: 20th Century Plastic Surgeon and Biological Scientist, on Friday, Sept. 5, in Harvey Morse Auditorium from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is available at 11:30 a.m. at no charge to Emeritus members and for $15 for non-members. The lecture is free and is presented by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the CSMC Emeritus Society. 9th Annual Update in Gastroenterology - September 19-21

This course will be held in Lake Tahoe at Resort at Squaw Creek from September 19-21 and is designed to provide the latest updates in various aspects of GI practice. Achieving Excellence in the Management and Rehabilitation of Spinal Disorders - September 20

This one-day conference will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard, located at 11461 Sunset Blvd. The course will provide neurologists, internists, family physicians and physiatrists with updates in the clinical management and rehabilitation of spinal disorders and in the management of pain originating from the spine. 9th Annual HIV/AIDS Conference - September 26

The 9th Annual HIV/AIDS Conference is entitled "New Therapies, New Patient Populations and New Global Challenges" and will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City. The conference is designed for physicians and allied healthcare professionals and will explore the challenges of HIV infection in a variety of populations, including developing countries, adolescent population, the incarcerated and couples considering reproduction. Advances in Facial Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery: October 25-26

This two-day symposium will be held on October 25 and 26 at The London West Hollywood, located at 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd. The symposium will be divided into multiple sessions, each one ending with a panel discussion. Facial surgery topics to be covered include revision rhinoplasty, ethnic rhinoplasty, craniosynostosis, otoplasty, profileplasty, facial trauma reconstruction, rib graft harvest technique and facial paralysis.
