

Sheryl Lewin, MD is Associate Director of Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a plastic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Group.
Dr. Lewin's main clinical and research interests involve pediatric reconstructive surgery, including ear reconstruction for patients with microtia (ear malformation) and the repair of cleft lips and cleft palates. Dr. Lewin specializes in a leading-edge technique for ear reconstruction utilizing a "biomaterial" implant that can be inserted in children as young as three years of age. She also has expertise in the surgical removal of large or complex congenital skin lesions, such and hemangiomas and nevi, and subsequent reconstruction, using skin grafts and other techniques for improved postoperative appearance.
Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Lewin received her bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and her medical degree from Stanford University. She completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of Southern California and her craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery fellowships at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles.
