At the Cedars-Sinai Sinus Center Dr. Liu specializes in 3-D Image Guided Sinus Surgery and the new tissue sparing balloon sinuplasty system. At the Cedars-Sinai Thyroid Cancer Center he specializes in minimally invasive techniques for surgical removal of thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
Dr. Liu earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and graduated with distinction from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado with significant exposure to pediatric otolaryngology at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Liu is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological Society. He has also volunteered his services with Cardiac Kids Have H.E.A.R.T., the Cedars-Sinai International Children's Fund, and non-profit organizations that offer free medical and surgical care to children with medical problems that cannot be treated in their home countries.
