Professional Development Programs

Cedars-Sinai offers students considering careers in healthcare opportunities to work in their health field of interest.

Stipend Student Research Program

This program provides students with hands on experience and exposure to medical research and other health care related fields.

Youth Employment and Development Mentoring Program

Each year, about 50 at-risk students are recruited to the Youth Employment and Development (YED) Mentoring Program Health Academy from Fairfax High School who have an interest in health care careers. Students are introduced to the world of work and are provided mentoring by Cedars-Sinai employees who volunteer their time to coach students one-to-one.
