
Claude Killu, MD is a staff physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Killu is board-certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine and neurocritical care. His practice is divided between the Procedure Center and the Medical Intensive Care Unit. He devotes his academic time to the teaching of medical students, residents and critical care fellows at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Killu received his bachelor's degree from the Jesuit American School (Baghdad College) and his medical degree from Baghdad University College of Medicine both in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn (academically affiliated with the SUNY-Downstate) and a fellowship in critical-care medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (then-affiliated with New York University) in New York. He served as a faculty member at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York for three years before joining Cedars-Sinai.
