The Medical Library has added a new electronic resource, the Bernard M. Strauss, M.D., Healthcare Ethics Collection.

This collection of 12 electronic journals represents collaboration between the Cedars-Sinai Center for Healthcare Ethics and the Medical Library. It is partially supported by a gift by Mrs. Lena Strauss and is funded for three years.

The objectives of this collection are to raise awareness and promote research on healthcare ethics as they relate to the clinical practice of medicine. It is named in honor of notable Cedars-Sinai physician Bernard M. Strauss, M.D., who championed ethics in medicine.

Campus Users: Click here to visit the Medical Library subject list of journals and select the subject Ethics, Medical.

Remote Users: On the CSMC Internet site, click on "Healthcare Professionals," then go to the link for "Clinical Workstation." Select "CSMC Library Resources," then click on "CSMC Medical Library Catalog." Type "Bernard M. Strauss" in the search box, then click on "search everything." You will get the list of the 12 titles in the collection.
