Diabetes 2008: What's Hot and What's New - March 29
This program will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, March 29, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will provide physicians who treat diabetic patients with a comprehensive update on what's new in the field. The course is designed to update endocrinologists, internists, family physicians, pediatricians and allied healthcare professionals who are involved with the care of the diabetic patient. IBD Hot Topics 2008 - March 29
Cedars-Sinai is jointly sponsoring this half-day program on Saturday, March 29, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, Greater Los Angeles and Orange County Chapter, to provide a state-of-the-art approach to diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Cedars-Sinai's 6th Annual Physician Basketball Game - May 18
The Attending Staff Gomers will take on last year's winning team, the Housestaff Blues, on Sunday, May 18, at the Beverly Hills High School swim gym. Physicians who are interested in playing for the Attending Staff team are asked to contact Greg Orshansky, M.D., at OrshanskyG@cshs.org. The basketball game is sponsored each year by the Cedars-Sinai Alumni Association and Community Health & Education.

2nd Annual Women and Ischemic Heart Disease - May 28
This educational symposium will be held on Wednesday, May 28, from 2:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium and includes a complimentary dinner. The conference will explore cardiovascular disease and the sex-specific issues facing physicians and allied healthcare professionals relative to coronary physiology, diagnosis, risk factors, screening modalities, revascularization, prevention and medical management strategies.
