Dr. McAlpin received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University, and her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She completed a general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and then fulfilled an otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at the University of Chicago. Dr. McAlpin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
