Our Expert Team by Specialty

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine includes 35 experienced pathologists, all certified by the American Board of Pathology, many with multiple certifications in anatomic and clinical pathology, immunopathology, cytopathology, hematopathology and transfusion medicine. Twelve members of this department also have PhDs. Faculty members have various academic appointments at the University of California, Los Angeles and at the University of Southern California.

Leading the pathology team of experts is Dr. Mahul B. Amin , Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Arthur H. Cohen is the Director of Anatomic Pathology and Dr. Stephen Lee is the Director of Clinical Pathlolgy.
