Medical staff members are reminded to return their election ballots on Monday, Nov. 5. The Vice Chief of Staff election ballots are due no later than noon on Monday, while the Constitutional Amendment ballots will be accepted until November 12. The Vice Chief of Staff candidates are: - Marshal Fichman, M.D.
- Norman Schulman, M.D.
There are three specific constitutional amendments included on the election ballot: - Renaming the Department of Psychiatry to the "Department of Psychiatry and Behavorial Neurosciences"
- Removing the term "QIC"
- Allowing the Medical Executive Committee to make technical changes in the Rules & Regulations, to allow the MEC to proceed in a working fashion until the constitution can be changed by a vote of the medical staff.
